Warehouse Robots at Work

Kiva systems, based out of Boston has developed a revolutionary system that may change how logistics and supply chain operating works. The use of robots, to fulfill orders and transport them to the human provides a quicker, more accurate method of warehouse management. The system even keeps track of high and low selling items, storing the more popular items closer to the shipping station. Using barcodes on the floor and cameras on the bottom of the robot, they are able to travel the quickest way to each item.
